Ward Show Horses offers training and coaching for multiple disciplines ranging from Western, Ranch Riding and English, Futurities and Maturities to the All-Around events. We accept all ages and all riding levels.

• Our strength lies in versatility, enabling us to harness each horse's unique talents and abilities to create a customized program for the horse-rider team. We work closely with clients to understand their goals and help them achieve desired results. This not only pertains to showing but in general riding as well. We offer mechanical insight to help understand the training process and how to maintain it.

After assessing your horse and objectives, we design a practical plan for success and collaborate with you to reach those goals while ensuring a solid foundation for ongoing conditioning and trainability. Our comprehensive Amateur and Youth programs cover disciplines such as Western Pleasure, Ranch Riding, Horsemanship, Hunter Under Saddle, Equitation, Showmanship, and Western Dressage, fostering a healthy and competitive environment for those eager to compete at local, regional, Congress, and World Show levels.

 

We are dedicated to providing a fun and competitive atmosphere for motivated individuals aiming to compete at various levels, and we travel nationwide! Our team is very supportive and comes together to be the ultimate barn family at home and at shows.

 

For the "Green" Horse:

We start your green horse in basic dressage to condition and strengthen a riding "core." We begin teaching basic ground manners (if lacking), positively encouraging the horse's understanding and then progressing onto its back. Forming a clear and communicative "ask and respond," we develop the performance horse as well as teach the client. All breeds are welcome.
